Most laboratory instruments are equipped with a communication port. Unfortunately, no standard has been defined in data communication with laboratory equipment. Some devices have dedicated computers and associated software. actware LDA converts and centralizes all this data and provides an interface to automatically register and consult data via web pages.

Bidirectional connections with ERP software are possible via the REST API protocol.

Some companies are using LIMS software which contains all instrument data related to requests, test methods and samples. LIMS software can be expensive and for most laboratories is LIMS software over-dimensioned.

actware LDA can be used with a modular interface, composable according to your needs. Communication with ERP-software, local or remote databases or local software applications like Microsoft Excel are performed by REST API which provides a direct link to the database.
